Dynamix

Dynamix (a excellent company under Jeff Tunnel) was bought by Sierra about 1990/91. From that on their games were released by Sierra under the Dynamix label (Dynamix - Part of the Sierra Family).

They are also famous for their flight and action space sims (A10, Red Baron, the Aces Series, Stellar 7, Nova 9, this year (1997) they released Red Baron 2).

Dynamix has a homepage at http://www.dynamix.com/.

They are or have been distributed by Sierra On-Line, Inc.

For more information, see Sierra On-Line, Inc.

David Wolf Secret Agent

Written 1989.
Notes: This game was made by Dynamix before the Sierra/Dynamix merger. It was marketed under the Sierra label. It is a blend of action and adventure but is very unlike any of the other Sierra games.

Rise of the Dragon

Interactive graphics Written 1990 by Jeff Tunnell et al.

Comments: You play a private eye in a future city (LA?). Very Blade Runner in nature. You are fighting an onslaught of a new drug that kills and maims the user.

Betrayal at Krondor

Type:
Interactive graphics Written 1993 by Raymond E. Feist.
Runs on:
  • PC [VGA]

Notes: This game came in a disk version first, which sold rather badly. The CD release a year later was the high seller but by this time Raymond Feist had been released. His newest game, Return to Krondor, bounced across several studios in the last few years before it was picked back up by Sierra. That game came out at the end of 1998 but is very RPG in nature (and thus not listed here).

Adventureland was created by Hans Persson and is now maintained by Stefan Meier.
