Amstrad PCW (1984/1985 - ?)

This machine was a more serious offer with disk drive, monitor and printer. The OS was from Locomotive Software like for the older Amstrad CPC series, but the PCW could not run CPC software (although it could read the same disk format). Like the CPC it could also run CP/M.

This series consisted of the 8256 and the 8512 (two-disk) variants. They were basically word processors with limited graphics potential and monochrome screens. There are also PCW9512, PCW9256, PCW10, PCW9512+, and PCW16 versions.

There are 37 games listed for Amstrad PCW in this list.

Adventureland was created by Hans Persson and is now maintained by Stefan Meier.
