Dragon (1981/1982 - ?)The Dragon was a UK clone of the TRS-80 Color computer (nicknamed Coco). It was built around the same chip but had different ports and a different keyboard (both better versions, actually). It was fairly easy to port code between the Coco and the Dragon, so several of the programs for the Dragon originally were on the Coco. There were some differences between the ROM routines and some token differences between the BASICs (but if one saved in ASCII mode instead of BINARY mode, the same BASIC programs could be run on both computers). The Dragon had a 0.8 MHz 6809 processor with 32KB memory and used cassettes for storage. There was also a model called a Dragon-64 that had a disk drive. I don't know if the Dragon-32 could use a disk drive as well. There are 18 games listed for Dragon in this list. |
